This Privacy Policy explains how GoTaskhub (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal data when you use our website, applications, and related services (the “Services”). It also explains your rights and choices under the GDPR and other applicable privacy laws.

• Account Data: name, email, password (hashed), workspace or business information.
• Billing Data: payment method and billing details (processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers).
• Usage & Device Data: log data, IP address, timestamps, device/browser information, language, and limited analytics data (see “Cookies & tracking” below).
• Customer Content: tasks, jobs, quotes, invoices, files, messages, and other content you upload or enter.
• Integrations: data necessary to provide connected services (e.g., Google Calendar events, where you connect your account).
• Support & Communications: messages you send us, chatbot conversations, feedback and survey responses.

3. Purposes & Legal Bases

• Provide and secure the Services (contract).
• Billing and account management (contract; legal obligation).
• Improve and develop features (legitimate interests).
• Communications and support (contract; legitimate interests).
• Marketing where permitted (consent or legitimate interests with opt-out).
• Compliance and enforcement (legal obligation; legitimate interests).

4. Sharing & Processors

We share data with service providers who help operate the Services, including Stripe (payments), Google Cloud/Firebase (hosting, authentication, storage), email providers, analytics providers (see below), and support tools. These processors must use data only on our instructions and implement appropriate security. We may disclose data as required by law or to protect rights and safety.

5. International Transfers

Where data is transferred internationally, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., EU Standard Contractual Clauses) when required to protect your personal data.

6. Retention

We retain personal data as long as needed to provide the Services and for the purposes described above, then delete or anonymize it unless a longer period is required by law (for example, for tax or accounting reasons).

7. Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, such as encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and object to certain processing (including where we rely on legitimate interests). Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
You can also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. For example, in France this is the CNIL.

9. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate, secure, and improve the Services. Some of these cookies are essential; others (such as analytics cookies) are optional and used only with your consent.

9.1 Types of cookies we use

• Essential cookies: required to run the site and keep you logged in, secure your session, and remember basic settings. These are always active and do not require consent.
• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4): help us understand how visitors use GoTaskhub (for example, which pages are most visited) so we can improve the product. These cookies are only used if you accept analytics cookies in our cookie banner.
• Functional / preference cookies: may remember your language, region, or other preferences to customize your experience.

9.2 Google Analytics 4 & Consent

We use Google Analytics 4 (“GA4”) with Google’s Consent Mode. This means:

• Analytics cookies are not set and GA4 does not use full analytics functionality until you consent to analytics cookies.
• If you give consent, GA4 uses cookies to collect information about how you use the site (such as pages visited, approximate location, and device type). This helps us improve GoTaskhub.
• You can withdraw or change your consent at any time via the cookie settings on our site (see below) or by clearing cookies in your browser.

9.3 Your choices & managing cookies

When you first visit GoTaskhub, you will see a cookie banner allowing you to accept or reject non-essential cookies (such as analytics). Your choice is stored and you can change it later.
