- Recurring plan: set frequency and amount; review upcoming contributions.
- Transfer from budget: move surplus from a budget category to your goal.
- Withdrawals: record reductions if you use part of the saved funds.

- Pair Goals with Budgets to ring-fence money and reduce overspending.
Troubleshooting
My goal forecast says “off track”
Increase the contribution amount or extend the due date. One extra top-up can bring the goal back on pace.
Recurring contribution didn’t log
Check the schedule start date and frequency, then confirm notifications are enabled. Manually add the missed contribution if needed.
Totals don’t match what I expect
Review the contribution and withdrawal history for duplicates. Edit or delete any accidental entries and refresh the view.
Frequently asked questions
How do I create a new savings goal?
Go to Home → Goals → New Goal. Enter a name, target amount, optional due date, and starting balance. Save to start tracking.
Can goals receive automatic contributions?
Yes. Set a recurring contribution (e.g., weekly or monthly). GoTaskhub will log scheduled top-ups so your progress stays on track.
How do goals connect to budgets and expenses?
Budgets help control monthly spending. Savings Goals track money you’re setting aside. You can log transfers from your budgeted categories into a goal.
Can I track multiple goals at once?
Yes. Create as many goals as you like—each with its own target, due date, recurring plan, and progress bar.
