GoTaskhub’s Client Portal gives your customers a secure, branded space to review quotes, approve work, and pay invoices online—without email ping-pong. This guide shows how to enable the portal and share it with your clients.

Before you start

  • Add your logo and brand colours in Business Info.
  • Make sure each customer record has a valid email address.
  • (Optional) Enable payments (e.g., Stripe) for card payments in the portal.

How the Client Portal works

Your client receives a secure link. After signing in to their portal, they can:

  • Open quotes, ask questions, and approve with one click.
  • View invoices, download PDFs, and pay online if enabled.
  • See status updates (e.g., Draft, Sent, Viewed, Paid).

Enable and share the portal

  1. Go to Settings → Client Portal and toggle Enable Client Portal.
  2. Upload your logo and set colours to match your brand.
  3. (Optional) Connect payments so clients can pay invoices by card.
  4. Send a quote or invoice using Send by email. The message includes a secure portal link.
  5. You can also copy the portal link from the customer profile and share it directly.

Security & branding

  • Private, tokenized links and modern authentication help protect client data.
  • Your business name, logo, and colours appear across the client’s portal views.
  • Only documents you’ve shared with the client are visible in their portal.

Troubleshooting

Client can’t access the portal

Verify their email is correct. Resend the invitation or share a fresh portal link.

Payments aren’t available

Ensure payments are enabled in settings. If the client paid outside the portal, use Record payment on the invoice to update its status.

Client can’t see a quote or invoice

Confirm the document was sent to that customer and hasn’t been archived.
